2000 10-19-6 Failed to qualify for MLS playoffs for first time in team history; alienated many, if not most, of the players.
2001 3-7-0 Traded a third of the team, including two U.S. national team defenders, for young potentially talented players. Not surprisingly, the defense has struggled thus far in the season.
