Here's the simple math. Assuming Rongen's reported annual salary of 200,000 is correct, then 10,000 fans buying a premium seat equals his salary. Well, as long as Rongen is still employed, we guarantee that you will experience a reduction of fans passing through the turnstiles far in excess of 10,000 fans. And we're not even getting into pro-rating Rongen's salary, so the figure is actually much lower.

What does this mean? You're going to lose more money by keeping Rongen than by firing him NOW.

Oh, by the way. We don't recommend that you hitch your wagon to Rongen or you'll be updating your resume as well. We don't think Mr. Anschutz appreciates people who devalue his assets and kill a recognized brand.
